1. Who we are

2. What you're agreeing to

By using Audio to Text Online — uploading a file, creating an account, or paying for a Pro plan — you accept this agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you don't accept it, please don't use the service. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.

3. The service

We turn uploaded audio (and the audio track of video files) into written transcripts using a third-party AI speech model. The transcript is generated automatically — accuracy is high on clean audio but never 100%. You should always read the transcript before relying on it as a source of truth.

4. Your account and acceptable use

You can use a free anonymous tier from your browser, or sign up for an account to keep your work across devices and unlock the Pro tier. Don't:

• Upload audio you don't have the legal right to transcribe.
• Try to bypass quotas, abuse signed URLs, or extract API keys.
• Run automated scrapers or attempt to overload the service.
• Use the service for anything that would oblige us to call a lawyer — illegal recordings, child safety violations, harassment campaigns.

5. Pricing and payment

The Pro plan is offered at the price displayed on the pricing page at the time you check out. Prices include applicable taxes (KDV / VAT) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Payments are processed by PayTR Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. for Turkish-issued cards (TL) and via PayTR's foreign-payment route for non-Turkish cards (USD). We do not store your card data — only PayTR does, in line with PCI-DSS. We store the tokenised reference and amounts charged for accounting purposes.

6. Subscription term and renewal

The Pro subscription is monthly and renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate partial months on user-initiated cancellation.

7. Right of withdrawal — important

Under Article 15(g) of the Turkish Distance Sales Regulation (Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği) and the equivalent provisions of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to digital services that are performed instantly with the consumer's express consent and acknowledgement that the right is forfeited. When you complete checkout, you explicitly accept that:

• Your subscription begins immediately.
• Your right of withdrawal is forfeited at that moment.
• If you no longer want the service, you can still cancel auto-renewal so you are not charged again.

8. Refunds

Because of the rule in section 7, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused parts of a paid month. If a job genuinely fails on our side and we cannot deliver a transcript, we will either re-run it for free or refund the proportionate amount, at your choice. 9. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but we don't promise 100%. The free tier runs in batch mode and may take up to 24 hours during peak periods. The Pro tier is processed at real-time priority. Scheduled maintenance is announced where possible, but rare emergency maintenance may happen without notice.

10. Liability

We provide the transcription as-is. We are not responsible for decisions you take based on an inaccurate transcript — please always read what came back before forwarding it as a primary source. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, and we may terminate accounts that engage in clearly illegal activity. Where we suspend or terminate, we'll tell you why unless doing so would itself break the law.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumer disputes can be brought before the relevant District Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) up to the threshold set by law, or before the Consumer Court (Tüketici Mahkemesi) above that threshold. EU-based consumers retain the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of their country of residence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — when we do, we'll mark the change date at the bottom of this page and notify any logged-in user by email. Continued use of the service after the change is taken as acceptance of the new terms; if you don't accept them, please stop using the service.
